Kakamega · Lugari · Likuyani · Malava · Mumias border wards
Kakamega is not a Kalenjin ancestral county, but it holds a long standing Kalenjin presence. The Terik keep their border wards along the Nandi frontier, and Nandi households have long settled Lugari and Likuyani.
Kakamega town is also home to a growing chapter of Kalenjin students, professionals, and traders, drawn by Masinde Muliro University, the referral hospital, and the county's markets.
The Foundation supports the Terik border communities, works with the Kakamega chapter, and stays in fellowship with our Luhya neighbours through shared elders' forums.
