Bomet is the southern half of the Kipsigis country, running from the tea highlands of Kaplong down to the Chepalungu forest and the border with Narok. Its households are among the most settled and organised in the Kalenjin nation.
The county carries a dense cooperative culture. Tea, dairy, maize, and timber move through Bomet with a discipline that has made it one of Kenya's steady rural economies.
The Foundation walks with the Kipsigis Council of Elders, Bomet cooperatives, and the secondary schools of Longisa and Sotik on heritage, bursaries, and cross border peace with Maasai neighbours.
