Arror

Kin are the ridge you cannot leave behind.

Homeland
The northern shoulder of the Baringo ridge toward the Kerio bend.
Counties
Baringo · Elgeyo Marakwet
Tongue
Arror, sister tongue to Samor and Keiyo.
Livelihood
Goats, honey, and hillside cultivation of finger millet and maize.

The Arror hold the northern reach of the Baringo ridge country, where the hills lean toward the Kerio and the plains open toward the Pokot border.

The community stands in close kinship with the Samor, and the two have long shared markets, initiation grounds, and marriage lines.

The Foundation, following the elders' settled record, recognises the Arror as a community in their own right, alongside the Samor and the Lembus.
